Sensix wins CRM Best Practice Award again
Prize-winning partnership of Sensix and Lenzing AG.
Vienna, 09/10/2009. Sensix has won a CRM Best Practice Award with one of its customers for the fifth time in a row. The renowned prize in the "CRM enhancement" category was awarded to Lenzing AG at CRM-expo 2009. Sensix GmbH partnered with Lenzing AG in respect of planning, implementation and ongoing support.
The CRM Best Practice Award presented at CRM-expo 2009 rewards practical CRM examples considered a benchmark for the industry as a whole. Following Imparat (2005), bauMax AG (2006), Johanniter Unfallhilfe e.V. (2007), Energie Steiermark AG (2008) and now Lenzing AG (2009), a Sensix GmbH CRM project has ended up on the winner's podium again for a fifth time in a row. The jury's decision shows that CRM can also be of use in very large international corporate structures and support the development of a uniform, customer-centric corporate strategy. The project can be used as a model for many similar schemes.
The Lenzing Group, a producer of fibre, employs 6,000 people and has business dealings all over the world. A new CRM system based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM was launched in 2007 in cooperation with Sensix in order to meet rapidly increasing requirements. As the planner and implementer of this CRM enhancement, Sensix not only underlined its CRM competence in German-speaking countries, but also as part of an international roll-out in particular. As one of the largest dedicated providers of CRM services in Central Europe, Sensix was able to gradually customise the CRM solution at Lenzing over the intervening years to meet the requirements of the corporate group.
The structuring and analysis of extensive customer data is one example of this. Most sales activities in the Lenzing Group relate to fabric manufacturers and retailers. There is no direct purchasing relationship with these groups, but they have a crucial role to play in Lenzing's business success. Previous evaluations of these customers in respect of turnover and potential were unstructured. That data is now being systematically collected and analysed thanks to the introduction and gradual customisation of the new CRM system. This has brought Lenzing ever closer to best estimating the customer lifetime value.
About the CRM Best Practice Award
The renowned CRM Best Practice Award is presented each year at the CRM-expo in Nuremberg by asfc, the organiser of the event, and acquisa, a trade journal. It rewards exemplary practical CRM examples which might be considered a benchmark for other companies. The focus is not only on the software, but also especially on how the company as a whole and its processes are geared towards customers. The top-class jury is made up of well-known, internationally recognised CRM specialists. Gold, silver and bronze awards are presented by the jury in two categories - CRM introduction and CRM enhancement.
