Success in the construction business thanks to CRM

SENSIX, the Customer Relationship Management specialist in the area of construction, is cooperating with Docu Media Schweiz GmbH (various magazines including Baublatt) – the Swiss division of Docu Group that operates across Europe.

Zurich, 27th July 2009. Most construction suppliers serve construction objects via two sales channels. Through retailer on the one hand, and direct project processing through field sales force on the other. For project management support, a CRM software solution is absolutely essential for efficiently managing and supporting the sales force. A common situation in companies, however, is:

  • Level of project and address data of external data providers is insufficient for object processing.
  • Focussing the cost-intensive sales force on A-objects. Product potentials should be defined as a segmentation feature for each project.
  • The number of "important" projects completed should be increased. Without clear segmentation of objects this is not possible.

Numerous companies in the construction supply industry have made their project management processes the central focus of their CRM initiative. An important point here is that the integration and enriching of externally purchased object data (e.g. www.bauinfo.ch) is clearly defined. The quality of object data is decisive in the success of the sales and also for CRM acceptance in the sales team.

Docu Media and Sensix are now working closely together in order to offer construction suppliers increased added value.
