First place for bauMax at the CRM Best Practice Award 2006 |
Starnberg/Vienna, 9 Nov. 2006. Each year at the CRM-expo, the most important trade fair for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in the German speaking world, especially successful CRM projects are awarded. The first place of the CRM Best Practice Award in the area of business-to-customer this year was given to our customer bauMax, the most famous DIY chain in Austria.
Crucial for the decision of the 9 jury members was the high success and employee orientation of the CRM project. Right from the beginning, the project managers from bauMax, Dr. Michael Scheuch and Mr. Alexander Winter, campaigned to introduce the CRM system in a practically oriented manner and close to the employees and the customers. The software solution update CRM from update software AG was perfectly suitable for this. The introduction of the CRM software as well as the project support was carried out by Sensix. Since 2005, bauMax has been successful in continuously expanding the wide customer database and optimizing the efficient target group marketing through the CRM system. The greatest success was in the customer loyalty of the so-called "heavy users" (new builders and renovations). Dr. Scheuch about the "VIP tool", the CRM system from bauMax: "Thanks to the introduction of update CRM, today we know the needs of the end consumer much better. The individual heavy user is personally known to us and thus gets individual support, centrally as well as in the DIY market." bauMax has clearly been able to set itself apart from its competition and, in addition to an extremely high name recognition, today enjoys the by far highest customer satisfaction in Austria.
With the selection of bauMax, the jury was also successful this year in awarding a CRM project which can serve as an example for others. The pragmatic approach shows that CRM can also be applied in very decentralized corporate structures and supports the development of a unified, customer oriented corporate strategy.
Already for the third time Sensix won a CRM Best Practice Award, this time with their customer bauMax, and thus highlights its CRM competence in the German speaking world.
