For its expansion, XXXLutz relies on customer loyalty programme. CRM specialist Sensix lends its support.


Vienna, 10 April 2008. XXXLutz expands further. After the take-over of the German furniture dealers Neubert and Hiendl, XXXLutz is now expanding in other countries, too. Having taken over the Czech and Slovak firm Europa Möbel and two Hungarian discount furniture dealers in April 2008, the company is now conquering the Eastern European market.

In Austria, the country of its head office, XXXLutz began at an early stage to retain its customers with the customer card programme 'Price pass'. Next to reductions and an annual bonus, the price pass offers a number of advantages such as the disposal of old furniture, a floor and curtain service, carpets on trial and birthday meals, to name but a few. Due to the great number of price pass owners (more than 1 million, currently), the company in 2007 decided to get a CRM project started. XXXLutz opted for the CRM full service provider Sensix and for software from update. Following the introduction of this CRM solution, XXXLutz is expecting savings in the marketing sector due to the improvement of data quality and internal operations, where a whole list of direct marketing campaigns for various brands (XXXLutz, Neubert, Hiendl, Möbelix, etc.) needs to be processed. What matters most of all, however, is develop existing customers by addressing them in a more individual way.

'We have chosen Sensix as our CRM partner to take a specialist on board who brings with him a couple of years of experience and who enables us to further increase our time-to-market factor', says Thomas Saliger, Advertising Manager at XXXLutz in Wels.

Amongst others, Dr. Michael Scheuch, Executive Committee Advertising at bauMax AG, will take his experience at bauMax as an example and report on the chances and limits of CRM in practice, and Mr. Harald Sattler of the Marketing and Communciations Consultant Sattler u. Eichinger will be giving his presentation 'From customer segmentation to target marketing!'
